This is an extremely difficult game. I was really looking forward to it but even the earlier levels are very hard to complete in the time allowed, and there is no untimed mode, and not many instructions about the game. I would be interested to hear if anyone is playing it, and do they have any tips please. I am stuck on level 26, which I have tried to finish numerous times. I do not like a game that is too easy but I think it is such a shame not to be able to move forward, when it has the makings of a very good game. Thank you for any assistance.Sam

I am indeed reading that this game has some very difficult levels and that sometimes players are stuck on one level for a couple of weeks until they are able to move on.

There is a video here of someone completing level 26. That won't really be of any help, though, because the jewel boards given aren't always the same. It does demonstrate, though, that it is possible to complete the level.

I found this advice online, which I think probably applies to this level as well as some others:

Quote:
Key is to know when you can't go further and just hit replay. You want to start w/ at least 1 4 match on the board. You need at least a couple of gold coins to clear blocks at the end. As someone else said, it took me hours, so it can be done, good luck.

It's interesting to me that the developer of this game is Boomzap, who brought us the Awakening series of HOPAs as well as the Dana Knightstone series. I think a lot of players would have preferred that this game was more like the previous Jewel Quest games.

Good luck. I think it would take a lot of persistence and patience to get through this game. wave12

Thank you for your help. It is a shame because it has the makings of a very good game, with a few little tweaks here and there. I will just keep going back to it, because it is quite addictive, but a good game spoilt by a little lack of thought on the makers behalf. (tricky but not nearly impossible would have been better) Thanks Sam
