A radio station was having a contest to win hockey tickets on my way to work this morning. The contest was to "Name the top reason for little arguments in a household". Let's see if we can find all 10 of them. Please give one answer at a time but feel free to try again once I've replied.
Good luck.
1. leaving lights on all the time, wasting electricity 2. leaving the TV on 3. not turning the lights off when you leave the house 4. leaving windows open when you leave the house 5. leaving the doors open when leaving the house 6. leaving the doors unlocked 7. leaving lights on when you go to bed 8. thermostat setting 9. leaving electrical devices on 10. not waking up to your alarm
Did you ever stop to think and then forget to start again?

Not putting the toilet seat down?
That was timing.
I'll think of another one.

I would have thought that the toilet seat would have made the list but...no.

The dishwasher issue and tidiness would certainly be on my list but not on this one! Go figure. Thermostat setting is #8 on the list. Some of us run hot, some run cold.

I see you're on a toilet trend, Remi :) That is an irritant for some but quite frankly I'm totally thrilled to have the stuff available in any fashion of delivery in the heat of the moment. Actually, I'm happy when the cats don't have it completely unrolled! Sorry...not on this list.

I wondered when the in-laws would show up. All of the people surveyed live in complete harmony with their relationships by marriage. Hmmmm....good for them!

Skipping through TV channels (I still bear the scars!)

To waste one second of one's life is a betrayal of one's self. I wonder what's on television...?

"Skipping through TV stations": No arguments should happen - they should be slapped! "Who's hogging the WiFi": Probably those gosh darn Call of Duty players..they're too busy to argue. "The last piece of pizza": I take care of this at home by instantly grabbing the last piece just to make sure no arguing ensues. "Hogging the TV remote": Another great answer but not on the list. I like the Gameboomer list better Several of the answers are "power" struggles.
