Hi again,

I tried not to bother you guys, but my browser (I think) can't post at GOG and I tried to find a way to ask them about this game problem and my IE 11 problem with their website (could not find a way). Again I get a fairly small game screen with this game. Windows 7 Professional, 35 inch TV as monitor.

Thank You,

Bill

What happens if you change the desktop resolution to a lower number, like 1024x768 or 800x600 before starting the game? I can't remember if the game uses 640x480 or a slightly higher resolution.

Does setting compatibility mode to Windows 95 or 98/ME or 2000 help at all?

Also check if your TV itself has any options to change the screen size.

Hi Jenny,

There appears to be a flicker of hope with the settings I now have to be a fairly large size of game screen. I am using rt click on the game shortcut, select properties - general & compatibility). When I start game, All I see is a very fast flicker of a good size and then it settles to the small size. The flicker appears to be better than maybe 15 x 12 inches. How can I hold that? I am trying to make choices as administrator, but not sure I am
doing it right.

What model is your TV? Can you check the TV's user manual for scaling options? My TV has "View Mode" options for Zoom, Stretch, Sidebars, Dot by Dot, and Smart Stretch.

It sounds like your TV may be stuck in what my monitor calls "Dot by Dot" instead of Zoom or Stretch.

If you're not able to get it working right, you might want to wait. There is a ScummVM developer working on getting the game working in ScummVM, which would fix a lot of problems.

Hi again Jenny,

I can push a button to get the TV's Menu, but I can't get my curser in there to request something. It is a Sony Bravia EX5 31.6 diag. I can't find the paper work on it.

You'd probably need the remote control to get into the settings menu.

Jenny,

I Got it. As a matter of fact I got it too big and am having trouble finding how I did it in the first place. So big that the bottom questions asked by Under a killing moon like do you want to save over the previous saved game and the yes or no to click on are below the bottom of the frame of the TV. :) I also lost the PC according to the TV, but somehow got that back. :0 I don't know what I'm doing, but I'm trying to have fun at it. Worse comes to worse I'll have the guy that put this thing together for me straighten it out.

Cheers,

Bill
