I was supposed to get a second chance (acc. to the walkthrough) if the pill self destructed. Well, I didn't - and clicked all over the place looking for it before I realized I was buying up all the stuff I didn't want (hoo boy!). Now what?

The four food groups: Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate and HOT chocolate.

The walkthrough says:

Quote:
Open the PDA and review what the tracking device looks like.

Enter the Costumi di Vera.

Save here! Immediately click using the tip of the cursor on the white pill right of the box on the left side of the shelf at back wall. You get a second chance if the pill self destructs.

I don't know/remember about the second chance, but I always save my game after entering the store. Do you have a saved game that you can load and then try this part again?

No. That's the problem.

If you can't restore your game prior to this, then once it self destructs, it goes somewhere else. Try using your PDA to track it to another location.
