I keep striking out with these casual games lately. Here's another one giving me a glitch.

When I put the clover in the diary it should trigger a HOP so I can get the little hatchet thing but nothing happens, no HOP, no hatchet thing.

I haven't tried any troubleshooting yet, just looked here and on Big Fish to see if I found this problem anywhere but didn't.

So disappointing when you're just trying to have a relaxing day!

I GUESS I NEED TO EAT CROW.

I went back in and everything was fine. I think I didn't look at it right!

I agree - that is anything but relaxing.

I took a look at the walkthrough and it does indeed seem that this is supposed to trigger a hidden object scene. Like you, I could not find anyone else mentioning that this part presented a problem. Wish I had something useful to suggest other than exiting the game and going back in to see if that does anything.

Maybe someone else can offer a suggestion. I haven't played this game.

Marian,

I'm sorry I wasted your time. Please see my edit in the first post.

Argh. Sometimes I hate casual games because if you miss something you cannot go back and replay the part. I just picked up Amaretta's diary but am getting tired so I didn't read it. I thought I'd be able to open it in my inventory and read it but nope. Now I don't know what it says. As it is, I have been having trouble grasping the story. Oh well. It is a nice game with easy puzzles so, good for relaxing play.
