Kathy Rain, Shardlight and Until I Have You are the big winners.

Do you have an entry CaptainD?

I have (unless I miscounted) got 8 games that I was involved with in some way - a couple I did everything, some I was game and / or puzzle designer for, a few games I voice acted in, one or two as tester... if you're interested you can see them here: http://www.pcgamereviewsandnews.com/ (they're highlighted)


The big one for me I guess is The Journey of Iesir Demo, which although only a demo I fully expect to be nominated for several awards (I was Game Designer/ Writer for that one, but we had enormously talented folk on art, music and... well, everything really. Apart from game design and writing I mean! ). It's just a pity that the whole game will never happen but that's life I guess...

I think Tales will also do very well, I just had a small voice role in that one. Nothing to do with my but WEG releases Kathy Rain and Shardlight I'm sure will get a lot of votes. Some cracking free +/- short games were released this year too. Unlike many previous years it's not easy to see one game dominating many categories though.

Went to the site, trying to sign up but it has 17 questions and I seem to have one wrong and it will not let me go further... I mean really!!!!

Sad to say, it was a lot of work to get registered. I gave up until I have some spare time.

I finally got the questions right and was sent to the registration page... filled out user name... password and that capticha and said yes to was I human.... all IO get is ;

Even went to a different browser... same thing... I give up!

Hi all

Sorry it's so long since I created my AGS forum account that I forgot what a pain it is to set up initially. (In my defence I registered over a decade ago!)

So, once that's all done... I can't remember if you get a confirmation email (you know, where you have to click the link to confirm it really was you)? Sorry to suggest the obvious, but have you checked your spam folder for a message like this?

Can you get onto the main forum site okay?

If so can you navigate to different pages within the forum? Or directly to a different one?

I will see if I can get one of the mods / techheads over here to help if nothing at all is working, I know we've had new members join recently so it can't be a universal issue.

I will try to get some more info from the forums as to the exact process of signing up. I'm sorry you've encountered so many problems! :(

Hmm... were you using a mobile device for this? Or desktop?

I've reported it as a bug on the AGS forums and will let you know what kind of answer I get.

I can get to the site and look around.. when I registered I answered all 17 questions.. I get to the page where I enter user name.. password etc and if I am a human... when I complete that page and click I get:

I went to another computer tried again and received same

At first I was using Surface pro 3 then I went to my desktop

@Winfrey - I got an answer, should all be sorted out now?

Was pleased to see that my work as Writer / Puzzle Designer for The Journey of Iesir also got a mention. In any reviews I've seen that was always the least praised aspect of the game

Kathy Rain was the biggest winner with Shardlight, Until I Have You and Toffee Trouble in Creamville also winning multiple awards. The Journey of Iesir won Best Demo.

I played Kathy Rain a while back and thought it was really good !!

It won Best Game and a few other awards, I haven't played it but now feel that I definitely should!
