hi all I am trying to play awakened but can't figure out how to get the magnifying glass so that I can look close and get like the piece of rag or to see the foot prints up close please help.

Try zooming in first and then use the lens.
Also try to change from first to third person view. Keep us posted.

I have tried to zoom in but I don't know how to use the lens where is the lens I mean how do I make it appear when I need it I just get the pipe or nothing thank you.

The magnifying lens should appear at bottom left of screen.
It should appear automatically if needed.

No matter what I do the magnifying lens does not appear is there something I can do in options or controls that will help. This is so frustrating I cant advance until I figure it out please help.

The lens comes up on some things only. Maybe they are not present on what you are examining. Check the walkthrough and see.

okay since I wasn't that far into the game I decided to start over I found out I hadn't talked to the police man that is why the magnifying glass wasn't showing up got it now thanks for you help your the best.
