ZeniMax, Bethesda Gaming's parent company just won a lawsuit for $500 Million against Facebook claiming that technology developed at one of their subsidiaries was stolen and use to create the Virtual Reality unit Oculus Rift

One of the main developers of the Oculus, who is now the company's Chief Technology Officer, worked for a company that was later acquired by ZeniMax during the time they were in the process of creating the software. Apparently, Zuckerberg testified that none of the code from ZeniMax was used in the Oculus unit, but the court found otherwise.

I think this type thing happens a lot, sadly
