anyone playing this game. I have been playing for around 4 hrs and cant make head or tail of it. no hints, no explanations, running around trying to make sense of it. it has been touted as a myst like game, but its not, its winning awards but don't be fooled, if you want a game that runs smoothly and makes sense don't try it. I AM GIVING UP. never done this before. Been playing these type of games since 03 this is the most confusing game with no instructions whatever. many players like it, I don't, but this my opinion.

welcome to GameBoomers.

You might want to take a look at this thread from the Adventure Games Hints & Help section of GameBoomers. There are some posts in there that were of help to other players who were struggling.

cybermom22: I did finally almost finish the game. I got nearly to the end and learned I had missed a couple of items and would have to go back to everywhere to find them. I found it to be extremely frustrating and I too simply quit. There was too much going on and not enough explanation of what I was supposed to be doing. It was pretty, and the Halloween bonus was really cool, but it got to be work and not fun.

If all the people were heroes, there would be no one to watch the parades.

That's the way I felt about the game, too tired

I had a hard time getting into this game, but it eventually grew on me. But it's definitely not without flaws. When I felt completely and helplessly stuck a couple of times it turned out I had missed some tiny or well hidden thing or path in the castle or it was very unclear how the interface itself worked in a given situation. Not exactly the best game design ever.

And some of the puzzles were downright unfair (no matter what Flotsam says in the review). The second part of the planetarium puzzle and the complete rubbish of an underclued puzzle that the player faces at the very end comes to mind...:)

But I really enjoyed the game as a whole!
