Bob Bates, co-founder of Legend Entertainment and designer of such classic adventure games as Sherlock, Arthur, Timequest, Eric the Unready, and the Blackstone Chronicles, is currently running a Kickstarter campaign for a new text adventure called Thaumistry, with a magic theme in a comedic style.

Bob has already reached over $20K of the modest $25K goal, with 3 weeks still to go in the campaign. Check it out if you like the classic text adventures.

I hope the Kickstarter meets its goals - I have the highest respect for Bob Bates and his games from Legend and Infocom. Huge fan here!
