Rules For Women

This is a list of rules that guys wished women knew...

(In response to the popular "A Woman's 50 Rules for Men")

1. Learn to work the toilet seat: if it's up put it down.

2. Don't cut your hair. Ever.

3. Don't make us guess.

4. If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer you don't want to hear.

5. Sometimes, he's not thinking about you. Live with it.

6. He's never thinking about "The Relationship."

7. Get rid of your cat. And no, it's not different, it's just like every other cat.

8. Dogs are better than cats.

9. Sunday = Sports. It's like the full moon or the changing of the tides. Let it be.

10. Shopping is not everybody's idea of a good time.

11. Anything you wear is fine. Really.

12. You have enough clothes.

13. You have too many shoes.

14. Crying is blackmail. Use it if you must, but don't expect us to like it.

15. Your brother is an idiot.

16. Ask for what you want. Subtle hints don't work.

17. No, he doesn't know what day it is. He never will. Mark anniversaries on a calendar.

18. Share the bathroom

19. Share the closet.

20. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers.

21. A headache that lasts for 17 months is a problem. See a doctor.

22. Nothing says 'I love you' like sex in the morning.

23. Foreign films are best left to foreigners.

24. Check your oil.

25. Anything we said 6 or 8 months ago is inadmissible in an argument.

26. Christopher Columbus didn't need directions, and neither do we.

27. If you think you're fat, you probably are. Don't ask us.

28. Yes, pissing standing up is more difficult than peeing from point blank range. We're bound to miss sometimes.

29. Yes, and No are perfectly acceptable answers.

30. Don't fake it. We'd rather be ineffective than deceived.

31. If you don't dress like the Victoria's Secret girls, don't expect us to act like soap opera guys.

32. Let us ogle. If we don't look at other women, how can we know how pretty you are?

33. Don't rub the lamp if you don't want the genie to come out.

34. You can either ask us to do something OR tell us how you want it done-not both.

35. Women wearing Wonder bras and low-cut blouses lose their right to complain about having their boobs stared at.

36. Don't make 50 rules when 36 will do.

Good morning everyboomie. welcome

I'm pretty tired tonight, and in hay fever mode I think. tired

Since my trek around the sod farm yesterday it's been a sneeze fest for me, and today I went the other way, and spent all afternoon walking that other creek, in the wind. smirk

The nose is getting pretty runny. It's a long sinus movement. lol

I imagine Thursday I'll be sticking around here, and hoping to get in the exercises, and run. yes

I just want to relax this evening with the critters. woot

Have a happy day everyone. rah

Thumping Good Thursday ya'll puppy

I woke up to 40's (but of course it was soooooooo hot at bed time we had the AC running) but it is rapidly climbing. Sun is shining, Sky is bright blue. Come on down lab

I have to get out the door. Missy girl Seagy has a laser appointment. Otherwise I'd cuddle up all day and hunker down.

You guys with those really cold temps, stay warm, stay safe, and Midgy, stay dry.

Yukky, I'm sick. Darn. Haven't been ill for a long time. I think it's related to my fence building project. I turned up tons of dirt, which contained, loads of spider, bug, stuff, and probably molds and bacteria. All I have is a strange intermittent cough, a low fever, and yukky tummy. Weird. It started Monday after the fence was finished. Not the flu, not a cold, nothing terrible, just light symptoms and no appetite (never happens with me!). Need some good healing thoughts to get over this one as I treat with various over the counter stuff. If it's not gone by week's end, I see what the doc has to say. I'm pretty sure it's a bacteria thingy. I probably breathed in a ton of moldy, dusty, yuk. Probably gonna lose a bit of weight since food just doesn't appeal to me right now. Darn. Love food. duh

Welcome home, Space. Vet went fine. She was shaking like a leaf, but she will do that for a while sad We will go every couple of days for a little while to get laser treatments on her neck and her leg in hopes of discouraging her urge to lick. The vet thought it might be stemming from pain in the neck radiating and tingling down the leg. Who knows, but I'm always up to try to find a solution for her.

What's on your agenda tonight?

Feeling a little better tonight...finally! It's been 4 days of yukky tummy but today I managed to actually fill 3 yard waste cans with some of the fallen tree branches from the storm we had 2 weeks ago. Didn't collapse so I think I'm on the mend. I will know tonight if the tummy still is screaming at me.

Nice day here. 70's, sunny, very good day to be outside. Expecting more rain though. 4 more piles of yard stuff to clear after next week's trash collection then, I'm done. I think I'm going to have to MOW my yard and back lot all by myself. Don't know if I can do it, but I'm going to try as soon as things dry out. Yard kid isn't calling anymore. Guess he finally got the message that 'something' was wrong. Yeah, after he stole the 300 bucks from my neighbor's purse we both decided to never have him work for us again. Didn't tell him why, just kept saying there wasn't anything that needed doing. Downside is now we both have tall grass and nobody to mow it. Gotta find a good solution. headscratch
