Richard Hatch, the real Captain Apollo in the real Battlestar Galactica (1978) has died. He was 71.

This is another loss that just blew me away. I know a few of you are Star Trek fans, Hatch's work on the fan funded movie Axanar really can't be replaced. It was so good, that they were brought to court by Paramount.

I didn't see anything on the website yet, but I would imagine there is going to be a major tribute to the man and his vision. sad
