Has anyone else found this gem. I just stumbled onto it recently and I love it. it reminds me of Outlander.

Oh, yes. I watched it when it was initially released. The Poldark books also are fantastic (the original source material for the series). smile

I watched the original on Masterpiece Theater around 1975-1977. I loved it and prefer it to the new version, though it is pretty good too.

The 1970s version is actually what I was referring to - I didn't even know there was a newer one until just now. I don't watch much television, but I do love the BBC shows.
