dear MaG,i play,book of unwritten tales 2,this is not the first time,playing this game,this game was played by me,at
least 2 other times as well,i never had any problem with it
but now i play it again,and this time i have a MAJOR PROBLEM
i dont even know where to put my problem,in here,or maybe
in the bugs and tech,problems,so lets start,i am now in chapter 3,i also follow your WT,word for word i must go now
to the workshop,to setup the homemaid water wheel,open the tap,then talk to gulliver about electricity,also about fluffy,then slates,and some more,then and only then,the new
den will open up,but instead this if i click on gulliver to
talk,only 2 options comes up,or about rats,or about electric
generators,no mentions about fluffy,or slates,or abour electrisity,not at all,but if the correct options would be
this itself trigers,the opening of the new den,and since it is not so,nothing moves further,i am realy STUCK,but to my wonder,as i told you allready,i played this same game allready 2 times the least,and nothing wrong happened,this game i bought by GOG,MaG PLEASE HELP me,i thank in advance

I remember having trouble at one time at this part too and if I remember correctly, I hadn't right clicked on things in the inventory. After you right click on things, I would try and put things together.

I am having the same trouble right now trying to get into the pyramid. I don't get the option of putting the skeleton guy on my back to get it. I have right clicked, left clicked, talked to everyone and I am getting frustrated. I will keep working on it though.

so, at least try that Samuel.

Samuel, Since you know that something is missed in gameplay - go back to a saved game and replay.

dear MaG,i did what you say,and recomend,but when it comes to
the same spot,i get stuck again,but as far i can remember from
the same game,wich i played before,without problems up to end game,i think at that time,while downloading the game from GOG
there was a patch to it,and maybe this was the reason why it
worked,but now i somehow deleted this older version,and i had
to download it again,but this time no patch at all,i also instaled this game again,same problem.

If this is a new download from a reputable store, the patch might already be added.
I see from your first post - it's from GOG. They add the patch already. You missed something in gameplay.

dear MaG,the game runs again,i made a google search,and i found
someone at,(steam),with this very same exact problem,and another person gives a very clever idea,he says the same as your WT,except one thing,put the hamster wheel together,but
dont put the inflated ruber hose in the water wheel,go to the
workshop,place the homemade water wheel under the tap,then open
the tap,and only then put the inflated ruber hose in the wheel
once this is don,the whole workshop lights up with full electricity,then talk to gulliver,then gulliver will talk about
evrything as in your WT,he also make some kind of adjustments
on the table on the right side,then the new den opens up,thats it,so please MaG fix your WT,if not evryone who will use your WT,will get stuck the same as i did.

Glad you got it figured out, Samuel. Reading about this, it sounds like the game can be buggy at this point, and I am happy that you found a workaround. Enjoy the rest of the game.
