The developer of this game is Five-BN, who have brought us the New York Mysteries series and the Lost Lands series, among others. Their games are usually a cut above and I am hoping that this one will be good as well. wave

The description sounds good and the video looks good. I'm putting it on my "to buy" list.

Whoever told me about this game, I want to give a loud "Thank You!" I finished it this evening. A good, long play as a CE, the usual playing characteristics related to Map, setting Difficulty, etc. This game was "advanced" from early generations of the genre, with excellent cinematic quality graphics. Refined HO scenes, too; not a single HO scene was as simple as looking for a disguised piece; all were interactive scenes requiring you to assemble and manipulate a device or object.

You travel to an alternate place/time, and have to figure out how to help people in order to get back to your own time. Terrific mini-games, although there was one that I never could figure out the point of and had to skip it (a first for me). I'm not sure, but it made so little sense, it could have been badly designed.

I played on the hardest setting, but you can pick your level. It is not terrifically complex, but you do need to remember where you saw things, so you can come back again ("note taking") and the map can be used to transport around, if you get confused. Always easy to figure out where to go next and basically what you are supposed to do, even if you don't know why. ha ha Decent bonus game, and if you collect all the stuff along the way, you get a pesky mini-game that has multiple rounds. I played two of them. Don't know how many more there are. I enjoy that FAR more than having some silly "room" to decorate with accessories as a Reward. (Sheesh!)

I will be putting this on my list of Best Casual Games for the 'Boomers end of the year list. Highest recommendation from me. happydance
