It was some guy named Julian who discovered numbers, and figured out that the sun comes up exactly seven times a week. sherlock

They're so smart now they can even tell which days of the month that it rains, and it just so happens that it's scheduled to rain on my Saturday. dance That's my rain dance.

I'm not complaining at all. I really need a shower. penguin

So it's rainy Saturday, cool Saturday and Sunday, and then in 60s Monday and Tuesday, and my calendar is predicting that Monday or Tuesday is Sod Farm Day. hamster

Yes......it'll be a sod day indeed. haha

Have a happy day everyone.

I'll trade you weather, Joe?

I have a 7K race this morning and the forecast says 18f for my run time and windy. I should break record time just so I can get to the warming tent. lol

After that I will see the river they dyed green while I was running.

Hope you all stay warm and happy today!

I'll be thinking bout you though, and I know you'll do great. bravo

Good luck. hearts

lol I find it easy to run and do your best when you run with others. Especially when people line the way and cheer you on to keep going.

So, my drains in the house all decided to clog. :( Clearly something is wrong with my main line in the house and everything you do in one drain comes up another. Waiting to hear back from a plumber. Life is so fun.

Super Saturday ya'll puppy

It's quite chilly out there...back to warm fuzzy housecoat over my shorts and t-shirt. I think it will warm up later, but if not, that's all good.

Hubby is out doing errands. Son is getting ready for work. The boys and I will do chores for a bit and then hang out the rest of the day.

If I get really ambitious, I'll get the dogs to the park. Not hill-worthy yet.

Don't forget to SPRING Forward tonight!

Joe, I think rain might be on our calendar also.

Whoa, Ana, you go girl! I hope the drains are all cleared soon.

Space, wave

Holy Moly, Gerry, tis truly a coffee and tea-worthy day there!

Connie, you too! Thanks for the goodies.

Gail, I think it's winter's last gasp, at least down here.

Nan, have a great day hamster

Good morning everybody. yay

How is everyone doing today? happydance

It's cloudy and cool here. Missy has been out in the yard for about 2 hours, watching the door to see when I'm coming out to take her to the park. puppy

I'm looking at the radar and there is no rain even remotely close to us. I don't think we're going to get any. smirk

In the mean time, I'm watching the tube, and doing exercises. I did about an hour and a half of planks and crunches today. hamster

I may run later. Not sure yet.

Ana did you find out what your plumbing problem is? I hope it's just a clog. yes

I hope you all have a super Saturday. thumbsup

Lovely stuff going on around my neighborhood. My friend on the cross street (who had a stroke 10 years ago and is in a wheelchair) found out that her hubby is having an affair. This was just about the same time as her mom (who lived next door) passed away. What a mess.

So the hubby has been sneaking his girlfriend in at night and they 'play' in the garage behind the mom's house. My friend and soon to be ex hubby's house is right next door so it's not like they are unnoticable.

Friend saw the new gal and confronted her by accident thinking she was lost or an intruder at mom's. Girlfriend said, "Oh, you must be THE wife". Arrrghhh! How insensitive of hubby and the girl.

Anyway, last night she parked across from me again (she tries to be discreet I guess or just is hiding her car). Over she went to her boyfriend and stayed all night. This morning, HE drove out of the mom's driveway and turned past my house. SHE was in the passenger seat, but would have been hidden from the wife's sight by a carefully hung shirt in the back window. He drove by my house slowly looking to see if I was at my door or on the porch. I wasn't, so he went up the street, made a U-turn and parked one house away and let the gal off to walk to her car. Guess he thought this would fool the wife?

How he thinks this is OK to do right on the property is beyond me. No secret from their 2 kids (16 and 20). They already knew before mom did. I'm praying for the family since my friend can't work, and has trouble getting around. She's handling it pretty well, but it's hard since she just told me that hubby hasn't WORKED since Last June! Terrible guy. I never liked him and now like him less. Don't know how they are surviving with no money coming in. She mentioned she might have to sell the mom's house just to keep going. Sigh.

Life just isn't fair sometimes. Hope it all goes well for her. She's a very nice gal and was instrumental in helping me get those squatters out.

Space, how has your day been?

Sorta, some people have no morals and no decency. I'm sorry your friend is in this situation.

Just finished dinner. We were all starving so those tacos tasted really good. Now to relax a bit.

Don't forget to turn those clocks!
