I am trying to replay MCF Ravenhearst 3 and it keeps freezing up on me. One time I had to press the restart button on my computer because I could not get to task manager. I was able to cancel the restart and go back in the game and it was fine.

Three times now I have been able to get to task manager but two times I had to restart my system anyway so I could get back in the game. This time I am asking first before restarting again.

I "end task" under applications in task manager but there are two entries for MCF8 open under Processes. I didn't want to do "end process" because of the warning that pops up but my other option is to restart my computer, so I'm asking, is it safe to "end process"?

The warning says: Do you want to end 'MCF* CollectorsEdition.exe*32'? If an open program is associated with this process, it will close and you will lose any unsaved data. If you end a system process, it might result in an unstable system. Are you sure you want to continue? There's an end process button and a cancel button.

I'm tired of restarting my computer. Can I "end process" safely?

I did NOT have any problems with this game the first time I played it that I can remember. Don't know what the problem is this time. I recently replayed the first and second games with no problems.

Thanks.

Yes, end those processes. It appears the game is not closing completely. It is safe to end the process...

I've had a program not open up for me and when I check in the Processes, there it is listed as already running. So I end the process and proceed on normally.

Thanks for bringing that up, oldbroad. I've experienced it too and it's always puzzled me as to what would be the right thing to do yes

And thanks to you for resolving the issue, Draclvr !! thumbsup
