Don't know if this is right forum....But what suggestion does anyone have about the best gaming laptop out there for around the $1200 price? 16g ram 4-8g video ram type.. (17in screen). Any suggestion appreciated...

What kind of gaming do you plan on doing with this laptop? Adventure, casual, shooters, RPG's? New games or retro games?

You might try checking out the NotebookReview website to see what they have to say about good gaming laptops. Your specs would probably push the price closer to $2,000.

You can also try doing a search for " "best gaming laptops 2017." This is one result I found.

I like to look up an item on places like Newegg or Amazon and then read the actual reviews of people who have purchased it. I mostly throw out the 1 egg reviews at Newegg because they are usually about things that have nothing to do with the actual item. But reading them can be very enlightening. I have purchased or not purchased something based on user reviews.
