Hi fellow Boomers,
I just downloaded and installed "Dark Train Demo" from STEAM.After a brief introduction. the screen goes black. I hear audio, but only that black screen. Support from Steam is nil. They just give you the developer's e-mail and tell you to contact them.I have WIN 10 on my PC.has anybody else experienced the same problem with this game?

Does your computer have integrated graphics? If so, I found this extra note at STEAM in the system requirements.

What kind of video card do you have? Do you have a laptop or a desktop?

To answer your questions, I have a WIN 10 Pro 64 Bit Desktop PC. 6 GB of Ram. my video card is: AMD A4-5000 APU with
Radeon HD 8330 Graphics, 1.50 GHz.
Drac, I'll let you know if I like this game if and when I can get it to run on my PC. LOL

That is integrated graphics. They're used on desktop motherboards even though they're really best for laptops.

So try reducing the game's "quality" settings the way the tip Draclvr found suggests.

Since you have a desktop, it's possible you could get a "real" graphics card, but it depends on your model desktop, how much room is in the case, whether the power supply can be upgraded, etc.

I changed the quality to LOW, and now the game is working, BUT--- how to play this game, I can't figure out yet. I

I'm sorry you didn't like it Sanford. I just played the demo and rather did like it once I got it going. I had a black screen also but when I left clicked there was a heart. I started looking at a video walkthrough and saw the heart flashing so I went back in the game and just kept left clicking which started it going. It's on my wishlist waiting for a sale.

After finally getting it to run, I gave it a try, but it's just not something I can really get into, especially after watching the Video walkthrough, but I hope that you will like it. I have a feeling that it won't be too long until it goes on sale at Steam. Humble Bundle is selling it now for $14.99, just a dollar less from Steam. Happy Gaming!
