I never really understood how anyone could have enjoyed the early Sierra games until I watched playthroughs on YouTube by people who love them -- and got an idea of the "mindset" you have to be in -- where you pretty much have to enjoy finding ways to kill your character.

Of the two Laura Bow games, I like the first one a LOT better. But I wouldn't play either one (or any other early Sierra game) without a walkthrough or at least a guide to tell me what not to do.

But I still dislike when you forget an item in previous screens and then need to reload :/
