I am trying to jump onto the wing of the airplane below me. I press W and the left Shift key and when I land I hit the Space Bar. I have done this MANY times and I can't get into the other airplane. Could someone tell me how to do this? BTW, I am jumping challenged lol

NVM. True to form I posted and then I could do the thing I was asking help for. It's like magic! Now, though I can't do the run slide thing. My keyboard is a cheapie and I don't think it allows for pushing more than two keys at a time. At least I think that's the problem.

The key combos are tricky in WNO. It took me awhile to get that sprint/jump action as well. It's usually just a timing thing, challenging to know when to move, where and hit multiple keys at the same time.

Thanks Trail. I will keep trying. They sure don't give you a warm up to this stuff at all, do they?

Yeah, I like the game a lot, the premise is awesome (I love that pulp-novel stuff) but honestly there were times when I was just key mashing to get through a particular area. You know those times; when WASD, Shift and Ctrl might as well be one key! lol

It makes me think of buying a new keyboard so I can do macros for the various moves; sprint, slide and whatever comes up next that I will no doubt have trouble with. I don't know who came up with the keying on this game, but he needs a time-out or maybe a knock-out! hardwall mad Doesn't he/she know that old people like me need three hands to play a game like this??
I remember after playing adventure games for a long time that I played Baldur's Gate and thought that using the WASD keys were just hard to do after point and click. lol So, I will stay with it and I'm sure I will overcome this keying problem, too.

I have a hard time with the spacing on a regular keyboard, no matter how good it is. I've been using a CyberSnipa game keypad for at least 8 years and my left hand is semi-attached permanently! I'm surprised it is still working because I've played quite a few of those "key smashers" myself. It doesn't look like it's available any more though.

About the Cyber Snipa. I bought one many years ago and though I tried, I haven't been able to use it for games. I do hear that many players can't imagine playing a game without it. My problem with it is that the keys require too much pressure to depress fully. I wonder if others have had the problem and were able to get past it. Maybe mine requires more pressure than most. I have seen a few feedbacks that seem to have the same problem.

Interesting... I just checked and my keys aren't any harder to press than the ones on my keyboard. But then I have been using mine heavily for many years.

The reason I like it so much is if I simply rest my fingers on it, the WASD keys are perfectly spaced and positioned for my fingers. I can also angle it slightly away from the keyboard to be a 100% natural position. If I try to do this on my regular keyboard, it is really awkward.

I've not used one of these type of controllers, but it's something to consider. Thank you for your input.

After a while I found that the only move I couldn't make on my keyboard was the run/slide under an obstacle. You know, the panicky one you have to use WHEN THERE"S A HUGE FREAKING MUTANT DOG after you! scared scared scared

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.
