Well I wouldn't have bought from Steam - but after reading this I won't be buying from anywhere !!
How very disappointing
But not unexpected considering it was designed for console.
Benoit Sokal has made it clear in various interviews that he's primarily interested in making games for console and not for PC.
Syberia is not the only game series that has been diminished by "consolization" (having sequels developed mainly for console when the original games in the series were made for PC).
I know this sounds mean and the Mods might remove this last paragraph, but I really hope the Company falls flat on their face with this one and loose money on it, then maybe they will go back to drawing board and re-configure the game to make it PC/Mouse compatible and this can be done via Patches.
Ana is right. They will not turn it into a point-and-click.
If the game fails, they will claim there is no market for adventure games, even though adventure gamers are obviously not the target audience.
Has anybody found a playable Demo of this game from a legitimate site?.I've done a search for one, but the sources I've found don't seem to be that credible. (Greyfuss had mentioned a Demo in his post).
The so-called "demo" was only sent to certain game sites to do a preview of the game. You can watch it on YouTube but I doubt you'll find it for download anywhere.
