Anyone on here played it? I quite liked the first game, although it had its issues, seems to have got decent / good reviews on the whole, just wondered what forum members made of it.

I didn't get far with Jack Keane 2 -- quit after maybe 3 hours because I wasn't enjoying it. I didn't like that many of the "puzzles" had something to do with aiming, shooting, stealth, fighting, etc. Also you often seemed to have to do a sequence of things in a specific order to make progress, and if you skipped a step it wasn't obvious why what you were doing was failing. Even with a walkthrough I thought it was too frustrating to play.

It's possible the game gets better later on, but I didn't make it past getting off that abysmal prison ship. Too much work.

I think I did read that review at the time and was left with the feeling that maybe the cons outweighed the pros in this case... certainly something has put me off enough not to buy it.

I didn't like it either. For the same reasons that Jenny100 gives. I was most disappointed
