Hi Doreen,

Mystery Manor has some saved games for Next Life, which you can find here. I believe the save that you need is on the list.

Thank you Marian, I have downloaded the save. It is a pepper zip. Can you tell me how to insert it into the game please --- I am hopeless at this kind of thing.

In order to use the downloaded saved game, you first need to locate where Next Life is installed on your computer so we know where to extract the file to. What version of Windows are you using to play the game - is it Windows XP, or something else?

I didn't know that the game ran on Windows 7 - that's good to know. smile

If you right click the zip file of the downloaded save game, the next thing you would do is to choose the option "extract files." A box will pop up where you will be able to choose where you want to extract the files to, which would be where you saw your saved games are located. Then just follow the prompts. After you are done, then load the game, and the saved game should be in there along with the others you have already created.

I just managed to do it Marian, but the save is for the start of the puzzle, not after it. Is there anywhere else I can get a save? LOL! This is the puzzle that made me quit the game years ago.

Thank you MaG, that did the trick---upwards and onwards till the next time. I must tell you, I just finished playing the Omega Stone---you are BRILLIANT ! I don't know how you ever got out of Chichen Itza---I had the walkthrough and the maps, and it took me almost a week to get out of there, after being 2 bells short, and the wrong Mayan skull, I had to go back under the cenote twice more. I kept telling my husband and son,--" I'm lost again" so MUCH Kudos to you. I don't know how you manage to do all these walkthroughs from scratch with no guide.

Hi samuel,

You can find save games for Next Life here. One of the saves is for the part that you need help with at this time.

dear Marian,i also saw this place, the problem is,the save game
they have,is not for after the puzzle, but for some unknown reason,it says that it is,for after the puzzle,in reality it is
the puzzle itself,i download the save game wich you say,but as
i said, the save game is the puzzle itself,so i have nothing plus nothing, therfore i urgently need a save game, only for after the puzzle,do me a great favor and send a save game
i thank in advance

Well, that's really odd, to say the least. I would think that the save games there would be correct in terms of where they are located in the game. Are you sure that it doesn't just take you to the puzzle and maybe one little step required to complete it - or maybe just backing away from the puzzle screen?

Unfortunately, I do not have any saved games for Next Life.

Indeed you are correct - I looked at the beginning of this thread and it seems that the saved game I directed you to does not work. I am sorry that I did not notice that before.

I will see if I can get a hold of a saved game for you. It may take a little while.

Hi Samuel,

I merged your post with the previous Next Life thread; there was no need to post about it again in a new thread. I haven't forgotten about your difficulties. I spoke with MaG and unfortunately she no longer has saved games for this.

The only thing I am able to suggest at this time is to check out once again the saved games found here and see if the spinning-light saved game allows you to proceed. It seems unlikely that all of the saved games there don't work, even though the one you tried proved to be faulty.

Hopefully that saved game will work for you. Unless someone else comes along with that particular saved game that you need, I can't think of anything else to do at this time.

dear marian, you must not believe me,but go to the place, wich you told me above, click this save game, you will see a new window, opens up,and a large picture, dont download nothing, but
only observe this picture, you will become convinced, that i know
what i am talking, they show for people before they make a download, what they will have, but i tried, and again this is the
puzzle itself,it is not solved, marian the big problem is,that
MaG,in her WT,does not explain enough, what this puzzle is all about, what and how to solve it,another problem,i searched around, for any kind of a WT,maybe i will have more information
how to go about this very very tough puzzle, but even this is
just unavailable,marian i have a idea,the person who started
this thread,if again you look up up,you will find,he also asked
MaG,for a save game and,she sent him,so how can she say,i dont
have more, the only best way is to contact this person, maybe he
still have it,and if yes,we are helped
i thank in advance

I had no problem downloading the NextLifeSafetyBeltPuzzleSave.zip
from Mystery Manor and I've attempted to email it to you using the address you have linked to your Gameboomers account. If there are restrictions on your email account, it may not get through.

Samual, even though the picture shows the puzzle itself, the save is for AFTER the puzzle. I have no trouble downloading the save file either.

Have fun, Samuel! There are a few other saved games at Mystery Manor for this game if you get stuck again.
