Okay, then according to the walkthrough that I've been using (because my granddaughter finished my game and I don't want to go all the way back to the beginning again ), what you need to do is to walk to the right of the screen until you come to a door and some roses...

I guess I'm not a very good game player. I now cannot figure out what to do with the melted cheese in the big pot. Anyone have a hint?

I'm glad you're having fun with this game, Tvoe--I enjoyed what I got to play of it. But I didn't want to discourage my granddaughter when she wanted to finish it--she's the only one in my family who enjoys playing adventure games.

Have you taken that pot of melted cheese into the dining hall yet? If so, go to the right and use the flag--something should be there, or maybe come along, that you can use the pot with.

If you want a direct spoiler rather than a hint, just yell...

I have gone to the princess' room and found the "thingamabob", but can someone tell me what to do with it. I have looked at the book of spells in the "attic" but no luck. How do I find Gurra?

Floridagal go up to the wizard tower and find an open book. Try using the thingamabob on that book.
