Russian doll puzzles resemble the famous russian dolls that fit within each other. Here, a word is placed inside another word to form a third word. The clue is read as "Place the first word within the second word to create the third"
Example: sphere > terror = abstain (fORBear)
-1. boy > might = problem
-2. average > arrive = evaluate
-3. expert > achieve = criticism
-4. strike > indefinite group = cure
-5. can > tease = score
-6. want > owns = amused animals?
-7. waste/want partner > Dairy Queen offering = suggest
-8. family > chimed = position
-9. contend > drunkard = famous Union
-10. chaps > rule = apartment
