Hey everyone -

Longtime lurker, don't think I've posted anything (or anything of significance).

About a year ago, my husband and I watched a trailer for a game that I thought was called 'Tomorrow'. It was about a chap who was turned immortal by an alchemist, but the casted spell went awry, so he does die, just comes to life again afterwards. He is accompanied by an (untroubled) immortal partner--not recalling anyone's name here--who aids him in his quest to right the wrongs of the spell and thus make him properly immortal.

For the life of me--no pun intended--I am not finding this game anywhere. Maybe I have the name wrong. My search skills are decent, but still... no soap.

Anyone have any idea of what I'm talking about?

Thanks in advance,

Xan

welcome Xan and nice to see you post!

Is this the game you are asking about? Edge of Tomorrow and here.

Quote:
His Player One, Maj. William Cage (Cruise, turning in a oddly funny performance reminiscent of that super drunk scene in A Few Good Men), is a former advertising schmuck who is now trying to sell the world on enlisting mech-suited soldiers to fight off an alien invasion. When he gets sent to the front lines to fight his own [blip] war, he dies almost instantly (ain't that always the way when you fire up a new game?) only to realize the Mimic (alien) that killed him somehow gave him the power to respawn the day before the battle where he died.

If so, I will move the post to Darkside.

It sounds like it might be Yesterday by Pendulo Studios to me - http://store.steampowered.com/app/205840/Yesterday/. Or perhaps its sequel, Yesterday Origins - http://store.steampowered.com/app/465280/Yesterday_Origins/.

Helena: Where are these mangoes?
