The Immersive Non-Linear Puzzle Game Brought to You By The Producer of ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ and ‘Wallander’ Will Be Illuminating PC Screens This Summer

Check out the trailer here and here.

PreOrder and get 50% off the game here.

Quote:
London, UK, 22nd June 2017 - Green Man Gaming Publishing and Investigate North are pleased to announce that their much anticipated puzzle game Aporia: Beyond The Valley will launch on PC on July 19th. The beautifully immersive game provides players with a journey of discovery within an ancient, barren world guided by the memories of distant ancestors.

Aporia: Beyond The Valley was created in CryEngine by Investigate North, a company chaired by Ole Søndberg, the producer of Wallander and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, and a driving force behind the genre of Nordic Noir. With Aporia: Beyond The Valley, Ole saw the potential to explore a novel form of storytelling; one that uses no text or dialogue.

Aporia: Beyond The Valley’s unique approach to storytelling allows players to actively explore a puzzle filled, non-linear environment as it reveals a thrilling mystery surrounding ancient technology and the ruins of a civilization, all told entirely without using a single word.
Game Description

Aporia: Beyond The Valley brings a unique approach to the art of storytelling, by not using text or dialogue. It offers new, interesting puzzle mechanics, and elaborate environmental storytelling within an immersive world.

The mystical world of Ez’rat Qin - once a mighty civilization, now a crumbled ruin.

You awake after hundreds of years of sleep, in an abandoned land and no memory of your past. Immersed in this world of dark beauty, thrilling mystery and ancient puzzles, you embark on a quest to find out what happened in this world, and to discover who you are.

Aporia: Beyond The Valley is a first person puzzle game set in the world of Ez’rat Qin. Explore a world filled with strange nature, ancient technology, and haunted by a spirit roaming the fog-covered forest. With a whole new story and puzzle mechanics, Aporia: Beyond The Valley presents players with the challenge of actively exploring and piecing together a non-linear story of what happened in this mysterious world.

Happy Gaming!

Upsydaisy: If it's allowed on his site, might you share what it will cost. I signed up and got the link, but I can't seem to find out what the cost is. Thanks

Also Upsydaisy, do you download from their site that the link takes you to?

Oh, I see. It says Green Man Gaming Store (whatever that is). OK, googled it.

Looks like full price is $16.99.

Now I'm getting "Confuseder". I didn't get a link. I got an eighteen digit code with no info or indication as to where to send it.

I'm a bit confused also The Haze.

When I first put my email in a code was downloaded to my computer. This one said to use at Green Man Gaming Store by July (I forget the date now and am not at home to look). Did you get that? If you're not sure, check your downloads folder to see. I was prompted with a question whether I wanted to open it or save it.

Aporia sent an email regarding signing up and you were so supposed to confirm your signing up through that email. Did you do that? Then, a second code was received which was different from the first one and did not say where to use it (I don't think).

Maybe Upsydaisy will pop back in and tell us what she did.

It sounds like the email wasn't a 100% text message, and the parts that were supposed to be a picture or script were stripped off.

I'm not sure what you mean Jenny100 but I probably didn't explain myself right.

You go to the site Ana linked to and type your email address in to subscribe and automatically a voucher code is downloaded to your computer. Then you receive an email from Aporia asking you to "please confirm subscription". When you do that you get another email from Aporia saying "subscription confirmed" and that email also has a voucher code in it. A different code.

I thought Haze meant he got his code by email.
I've had parts of emails stripped off by my ISP.

Sorry, been away. I subscribed to Green Man Gaming first, got a voucher code ending with a July date (not sure what this is for). Then received another email with the code for price reduction. Entered the code (3 groups of 6 letters and numbers) to buy. After that received another email with details on how to activate game on Steam (add new game etc.,) The price I paid was £5.49 ($7.03) hope this helps. wave

Aha! That's what I'm missing. I received the "voucher code," but never got the Email. (OR.. I may well have deleted it since I am quick to dump strange Emails.) Either way I'll try again. Thanks all.

Thank you Upsydaisy. So that code (3 groups of 6 letters and numbers) is the one on the download I received that has the July date, not the one I received in the "subscription confirmed" email from Aporia (which is not 3 groups of 6 letters and numbers). What is THAT code for I wonder?

I guess I should just go give it a try and see what happens. Best way to go I think!

So, it is Steam. Wondered about that. Fine with me!

Hi oldbroad, from what I can gather, green man have discount vouchers every month sometimes 20% off games, even 50% or 75%. I have set up an account with them now and you can target vouchers to the types of games you normally play. The prices seem very reasonable too!! bravo

Thanks Upsydaisy. I registered and did the pre-order. Came out to $6.15 USD. Hope they don't wait too long to send the Steam code.

I know. They will send the Steam code closer to the release date. I just feel that somehow my order is not complete. Just a me thing.
