Hi there. I am stumped!

I think I've been in all the rooms on the first floor but cannot access the second floor. It is all locked up. I can't find what I must have missed. Though the one room on the first floor that has a different symbol on the door (1E I think) is locked and I can't get it there, I thought I was in there through a different entry.

Other things I cannot do are open the locked toolbox outside of the "gent's" room, use any items I have over the barrel fire there, open the locks in the tower.

I do know one thing I did not do right was my phone call. I thought maybe I would find another coin some where but haven't. I hope that's not what's holding me back. I don't want to go back that far and replay.

Can you "hint" me in this type of game? If not, I can read the walkthrough.

Have you taken a good look around the reception desk? At a certain point in the game and after having performed certain actions, you will be able to find something there that will be very helpful that sounds pertinent to part of your problem.

It sounds like you are not in a position to do anything with the barrel fire or the toolbox at the moment.

I will try looking around the reception desk some more. I have done so a few times but... you know how that goes.

The reception desk may or may not be a waste of time, depending upon what you have already done. I wish I could be of more help - it's really difficult to know what you might have missed.

Yea, I'm not getting anything over there. It doesn't have to do with the safe does it? That won't open though it would be a good place to find some keys!!

No, it didn't have anything to do with the safe. You need to get into room 1E - that seems pretty clear. But it's probably not possible for me to figure out what you might have missed - there's just so much going on. It's probably best to take a peek at the walkthrough, unfortunately.

About 1/2 way down the walkthrough.

I needed 3 eyes but only had 1. Not finding the 2nd one kept the 3rd one from being triggered as findable. Having all 3 has moved me along.

Well, I'm stuck again. I got into the room with the tv which showed different symbols and on the wall was Amy's drawing of the hotel. I got the 4th eye from there. But can't figure out what to do next. My clue (I guess that is what "Echo" gives me though I missed that before) is Tickets please (TEASE). I went all over the place again but didn't figure anything else out. Still can't get in 1E or upstairs or anyplace.

Can you maybe tell me anything now?

Oh, I didn't actually do the phone thing wrong except that I missed getting a bonus item by doing it right.

In the walkthrough, after doing what you have done and getting the clue Tickets please, you go to the depot. Maybe the walkthrough is doing things in a different order, though. See if going to the depot helps.

Even though you can go to different places and do some things in different order, the game is actually linear. Major moves have to be done in order to unlock other things. That's why I thought I'd ask if you can help again since you now have a better idea where I am and what I've done.

I did go back to the depot based on the tickets please clue but didn't get anywhere. I'll try again today. Between this game and still trying to beat The Spell, my eyes weren't working anymore last night. Matter of fact, they're still blurry this morning.
