Hi. Is this an Adventure or a Dark Side game ?? I just bought it DRM Free in the sale at Humble Bundle - for an absolute pittance - so I won't be too upset if it proves to be beyond my capabilities

I would classify this one as an adventure game with some Dark Side attributes. It is mouse and keyboard controlled and is probably the scariest game I have ever played. It is by Frictional Games, the same folks who made the Penumbra games. There is no combat and no weapons and it is first person. The theme is very dark and involves the edge of insanity and implies some torture. Not one to play alone at night, but an excellent game!

No quick reflexes needed... your method of staying alive is stealth. Yes, you can die, but the game will restart anywhere you choose... unlimited saves, thank you very much! The "monstors" are vague forms and are utterly terrifying. Run into a room, find a dark corner and crouch to hide.
