I just use a knife to cut it off, as I don't cut corn enough to warrant having a stripper. You canning corn?

I cut it off with a sharp knife... stand it on end and run the knife down the kernels; turn and do it again until all the corn is cut off. I've probably cut corn off the cob on thousands of ears of corn! Helped my mom do as many as 7 bushels of corn when I was a kid to freeze and eat during the winter. Still do it today, only more like only 2 bushels.
Once again, weeds are my life!
