Hi Bluto, I am not positive, but could it be this key mentioned in the walkthrough?

Quote:
Enter the doorway, move right and exit the bathroom, back down the stairs, back to the entrance hall, move right, leave the building. Move right, move down the street, enter the doorway on the left, go to the garden, move left, enter doorway and go forward. Go to the courtyard at the left side of screen. Go up the stairs at the center of the screen, move up the stairs, enter doorway. Move left and enter doorway. Go to the table. In inventory, combine the ancient coin with the fortune card. In this game, you need to swap letters to spell “key” nine times. When complete, take the key.

Hi Marian

I know what scene you are referring to I spelled key 9 times and I think I got that
Key. I have been playing the games on win 7 my laptop but I noticed I lost a lot of
Inventory items playing on 7 I loaded it into win XP and older system and see if the
items all stay in inventory including that key.

I will let you know how I do.

Thank You

Bluto

Hi again Marian

I am at the end of the game let see if I got this in the right
Order went to the computer put the stone key in the slot went back
To the strange machine combined the blood stone with the lab jar
With solution I then placed the blood stone with solution in the
Device went back to the computer clicked on the key board saw at
The bottom screen #volts, #temp and 0 amps I think the problem
Is setting the amps to the correct number, the walk through states
You can find the number in Doctor benzor Journal he says type in
amps=#### but this doesn't work no cut scene of count down.
Any and all help appreciated.

Hi, Bluto.

The walkthrough says this:

Quote:
The volts and temp are random numbers. You need to set the amps to the correct number. It's a random puzzle (2-4 digits) and can be found on the last page in the Journal of Dr. Benzor, which was shipped with the game.

Do you have the journal that came with the game? If so, look at the last page of the journal and you should find a 2- to 4-digit number that you should enter for the amps. Apparently it won't be the same number for all players, so you need to look it up in the journal.

Let us know how it goes. smile

Hi Marian

this is from the book that came with the game.
Note to self:
syntax for computer is AMPS=X
(X=numeric amp setting)
In the game the Volts=26,Temp=9,Amps=0
The book has Volts column 1-30
The temp column 1-9 now going by this going down the volts
You would get at line 26 368,and going further at temp line 9
You get 3312 are these the figures you key in on the game
Or am I reading the game book incorrectly?
Is this how it's done

Thank You
Bluto

Hi Bluto,

I found this information looking through past posts on GameBoomers; here is an explanation of how you arrive at the number for the amps:

Quote:
The amps number is unknown and is found only after you use the temp and volts in the journal chart. Open to the last page of the journal. Look for the number of volts you saw on the computer; then look for the number of temps you saw on the computer. One of the numbers is at the horizontal and the other is on the vertical.
Find the number where that row and column meets - and that is the ampere. Then enter that info on the computer in format of amps= and the number (leaving no gaps).

If the number you enter is correct, you are then prompted to enter program 23.

Good luck. smile

Hi Marian

I finally finished the game my mistake was not putting in program 23 after
Keying in the correct amps after correctly using the chart from the booklet
after I keyed in program 23 the game went to the cut scene and than to the
Finish.

Thanks for you help Bluto
