I can't seem to break the windshield of the plane and I don't get the gear icon with the extinguisher. Marian suggested I ask this forum about it. can anyone help me?

For anyone else reading this, here's the link regarding the discussion of the problem - the gear icon does not show up.

This issue was discussed a while back in the Adventure Gamers forum, and I saw no solution to it - uninstalling and reinstalling the game did not help. I saw a couple of other people online as well who were stuck here due to there being no gear icon.

I'm stumped. Anyone have any ideas about this?

I found an Adventuregamers thread ***Can't smash plane window*** in their archive if anyone wants to check that out.

I don't know if any of their suggestions will help.

Could this be a problem caused by doing things in the "wrong" order compared to what the game was expecting?

One thing you could do is try someone's saved game and see if it makes a difference, if you can figure out how to get it into the game.
