I am playing this great game. I need a little help. I am in Act II. I have the shovel, charcoal, magnet.A saw the crosses on the gravestone. I know that three crosses are the key to the temple, whatever that means. I know I am trying to find a cure for Le Croix, but I don't know what to do. Can anyone help?

I am stuck in the same spot-have tried everything with everything. Even discovered a hole in front porch I cannot do anything to. This is a good game, but I'm getting frustrated. Maybe we have incurred one of the voodoo curses.

I can't do anything with the hole - but I did use the needle on the haystack and it says I can't get close enough. I saw the clothesline - but can't get it down or off.

you need to get the clothesline in your inventory to enlarge the magnet

Before you can start the ritual you also need a voodoodoll.

Thanks for the advice. You get the charcoal by using the shovel on the fire in the fireside.

Laura-use the "take" icon on clothesline. I had to click it many times in many spots, but achieved success.

you need to form a voodoo doll with bee-wax + hair! A lit torch is very helpfull with the bees.

Take a look inside the temple, there you will find the voodoo book I am talking about and the torch But you have to find the golden key first to open the door.

I thought this was the main problem all along - that none of us have figured out how to get the temple key. *deep breaths*

Alright - back to the 3 crosses enigma. The grave next to the back row where they are all crosses is the only one that says anything different - it is a fresh grave with an old grave stone. I have dug, bagged, grabbed every cross, grave in the cemetary. I noticed that the old side of the map shows three crosses where the right sarcaphogas is. Nada.

Those out there who have finished this part - a nudge - no make that a shove would be very very helpful here. No temple - no torch - no bees - no doll - no moving on to the next chapter.

Means DICK with your spade on the 3. grave!!! I mean the grave on the left side of the new fresh grave. Try it often, it did not work on the first time by me.

It finally worked for me. Try clicking in upper left corner of grave (also, make sure your cursor is the one that looks like 2 cogs)

I am in the temple trying to do the ritual. I've lit the candle. Placed the voodoo doll and stuck in the pin and banged on the drums. Now I'm supposed to feed the god. I assume that means the bowl of blood, but I've clicked the bowl all over the temple and nothing happens. Am I supposed to feed the god something else or is it a matter of pixel hunting? You have to beat the drums until you get a cutscene. Then you can feed the god. Act 3 and stuck already lol.

my drums worked in this way: low, 2xhigh, 2xlow, high, low. And I had to repeat this 4-5 times.

Ok finally beat the drum puzzle - urk inadvertant bad pun.

I am in Act 3, Have the cat tails, granpa pic, vase, new needle and am spying away. It looks as though I need to get some folks moved around or to leave the house.

Other than picking up stuff I am clueless. I'll see if I run across anything else. Glenna - aren't you in ACT 3.

As for the drums - the advice to do them over again is what worked for me. I beat them in the same order, Low, 2X High, 2X Low, High , Low.

I got the snake! I can't find a picture of Le Noir to substitue for Sarah's.

Of course I don't have David's picture yet, but I have been in storeroom....
What I can't catch is the bees ! Made the "sticky" but can't find anywhere to put it. Can anyone help a pathetic gamer who is severely addicted to this hair-pulling game?

P.S. It's possible to semi-understand the German forum using Babelfish. Looks like the game becomes increasingly difficult.

Glenna, that storage room took me a while. Looked for light everywhere. If you want just a hint-the top of the masoleum is kind of interesting.

I finally figured out that bee thing by myself, but thanks for the tip. I also apologized profusely for the grave desecration, so she traded with me. Now I'm trying to figure out breakfast. Those darn chickens aren't even afraid of the axe. Someone probably told them I am trying to be a kinder more gentle person.

You need a light after gettin the key from David. Remember what David said about the Mausoleum dome - that it is different something or rather. Maybe check that out. Climb up there.

Now -- I'm stuck also! Can't get a mouse on mouse trap and can't get David's picture! Need a hint, nudge or push!

Just load the empty moustrap and put it in the storage room. Go back in the bedroom and use the mouse trap with something long out off your inventory.

I've got the Goofer Dust and the Snake Curse. I have managed to open the kitchen cabinet and take the contents. Now what? I assume I have to cook something. In an earlier post someone said to "take" the chicken nest. No way, no how despite trying several times, can I get the nest. What am I missing? What do I do next?

First you must spread the Snake Curse.
Big spoiler:

combine it with the hole under the porch. Only then will you progress to the next act...when you can cook up a hearty breakfast.

Help with breakfast please. Have 3 eggs cooked and in egg cups, rolls, tea, honey, teapot filled with posion and water, tray, cups and dishes, but can't do anymore. Have key to desk but granpa is still in his room and wont get up.

You need to talk to grandpa, tell him breakfast is ready, and he will leave the room. Open Grandpa`s desk and you will find the last item what you are missing for the breakfast!!!
Than serve it to the hole family.

I feel fairly sure that the dome is onvolved. Used the lantern on the platform again - nothing leaps out.. Have scoped out the odd columns or knobs - do I need some reflecting device??

The correct order for the 4 globes.
Start at the front left cone and go clockwise: green, yellow, blue, red. Make also sure, that the latern is on the platform. Go inside the mausoleum and see what happend.

Pick up the King's Cross from inside the mausoleum (underneath altar) and take it to Salem's cabin. You can use it there.

Yes. And axe the picture in the pink bedroom.

Judy, use a bucket found on the Major Lawn for soil. Don't worry about putting the snake into the bottle. That will happen on its own later.
