I think so, but if you have a disc version, you might need to either update the TAGES copy "protection" for Windows 7 or use a NoCD.

You probably want the x64 drivers.

Big Fish version says Windows XP/Vista/7/8

Steam version says WINDOWS XP SP2/VISTA 32

If you've played a game that used Nvidia PhysX drivers before, you might have to uninstall Nvidia PhysX drivers and install the older version that came with the game (even if you're using an ATI/AMD video card) according to

or try what "NECROMANCERFORLIFE" suggested in the last post.

I played the 3CD disc version with a NoCD on Windows 7.

I have moved this thread over to Glitches, as this is a discussion about technical issues. wave

Hi fellow Boomers,
I downloaded the BIGFISH version of this game via AMAZON onto both my WIN 10 pc and also my wife's VISTA pc. In both cases , when clicking on "NEW" game, I then get a black screen I have an AMD video card on the WIN 10 machine, and ATI RADEON on the VISTA machine. I just contacted FROGWARE'S Support, but if any of you have a solution that worked for you, I'd greatly appreciate your input. does this have anything to do with PHYSX drivers? I downloaded two of them, but i'm only assuming that they would work on NVDIA only. I have not yet applied either of them on my computer.
Sandy

It might. You need the version of PhysX that came with the game -- NOT anything newer. PhysX is not backwards compatible.

Thank you, Jenny, and BTW: What took you so long to reply? LOL LOL
Sandy

I just received an automated e-mail from Frogware Support, that they received my request, and will get back to me with an answer within 24 hours.

HI Everybody,
I finally got the e-mail from Frogware Support, including the links to the latest PHYSX drivers, complete with instructions. I downloaded the PHYSX drivers, applied them to my pc, rebooted, and then launched Dracula Origin again. Now the game is running perfectly well. I sent a letter to Frogware, thanking them for their help. YAY!
