Our very own member, RebKean, who, by the way, can be seen as a character in the latest MDNA Game, Profound Red, is releasing her first adventure game August 2017.

Download the demo Here.

Check out the Official website here.

Quote:
Rebecca Carlson is travelling to her old home town in search for answers. Recently, a childhood friend of hers died in what appeared to be an accident, and Rebecca was mentioned in the will. She received the keys to the friend's apartment, and a short note. It said: Follow in my footsteps.

Without knowing anything more than that, Rebecca now has to try and figure out what it’s all about, and why her friend had been so secretive.

Silent Footsteps is a point and click adventure game made with real photographs. It's 100% mouse driven and has 100 save slots, which you can use at any time.

There's a quick tutorial at the start of the game, and an in-game journal that will guide you, if you should need any help.

The game takes place in Sweden, but all dialogues are in English, and have optional subtitles.

The game contains no graphic violence or swearing. It has no action sequences, and is suitable for ages 15 and up.

Happy Gaming!

Ana wave

Haha, Gameboomers doesn't like my text very much. It should look correct on the website, if it's a bit hard do understand. =)
Thank you Ana, you really worked fast on this one!

Fantastic, can't wait for August. Wouldn't it be nice if Mikael and Reb Kean released a game every year and 6 months apart yes I haven't even played your game and already I am hoping you make another. lol

Thanks Ana, looks a bit better now. thumbsup

Unless the whole world ends up hating it, I will absolutely do another one GreyFuss. Or pehaps I'll do it anyway. lol
It's fun, and I want to make them better each time.
And hopefully you then get two games a year!

I'm so happy!
I did change a few things for the demo, but nothing that affects the story, so I completely understand why you wait. (very few things I might add)
And also, Yay, I have a customer! rah

I think I may have to add some info about the downloading-anti-virus-thing. Those of you that have downloaded it, you got a warning right? I get a warning myself, but I know that it's fine, others do not. I think this happens because not that many has downloaded it yet, and that the warning will go away in time. But it looks scary, especially since I'm a new developer.

EDIT. After investigations, I've concluded that Firefox and Chrome are better to use than Explorer, who tries very hard to stop you from installing. The other two won't make a fuss, so that's the best solution. The warning will go away in time, but now I know what to say if anyone would ask me. smile

I haven't tried the demo but I'm sure I'll be buying also, if Paypal will take a credit card.

Wow, really hope I don't dissapoint when getting that kind of trust. =)

About payment, it's the same thing as when you buy a Carol Reed game from the MDNA website. A number of cards should work.
Let me know later if there's any problem.

An update. The game is now being tested.
So the release will not be in the early days of August. But no delays so far. =)

Well, you're not alone in the 5-quest. That was not done intentonally though.
I shouldn't write anything here, but if you need a hint, I can write you a PM.

Thanks for not supplying hints here, Kim. Anyone needing hints, please contact direct (if Kim doesn't want a hints thread until release) or post in hints.

thanks

Sometimes I remember things Ana. =)
A hints thread isn't really my decision, if anyone wants help, a thread is fine. PM works too of course. I would hate it if people got stuck this early and lost interest. That was certainly not the intention.

I didn't want to say a date officially, so I don't disappoint. The game is being tested right now, and I'm also waiting for the go-ahead so to speak, from the tax agency. But if all goes well, my plan is to release it on the 22:nd. It looks promising, but please don't kill me if it takes longer.

EDIT. I'm changing it on the website now as well.
