Fish for various types are hidden in the answers to the following clues. All of the fish names are in order within the word but may not be consecutive. The first number indicates the length of the container word and the second is the length of the fish type.
Cast a couple times if you like.
Example: pass along(5,3) RelAY
-1. maybe(9,5)
-2. word with central or situation(6,3)

-4. vast area containing frozen subsoil(6,4)
-5. piece of exercise equipment(7,4)
-6. Irish icon(8,5)
-7. person who gossips(13,6)

-11. streaks of fat in meat(8,6)
-12. sentry(5,3)
-13. property presented to a man from a bride's family(5,4)
-14. part of a fence(6,4)
-15. put someone behind the eight ball(7,5)
-16. sequester(7,4)
-17. number of people taking part in an event(7,5)
-18. embarrassed(7,4)
-19. appease(7,5)
-20. an acrobatic maneuver(10,5)
-21. exaggerated and dramatic(10,5)

You're all excellent anglers. I'm not. I've only fished twice in my life. Both times the people around me didn't realize that fishing was such a dangerous sport until I started to cast! Great job!
