are they making cheap barbie, my old ones can sit, but the new ones every time i try to get them to sit the legs come out of the socket.

I found three online forums where people were talking about this, and they all agreed that they are made more cheaply now. Not really surprising, as that's true of a lot of things now, unfortunately.
