We have a ridiculously cloudy day but I managed to catch some shots of the eclipse when it would peek through. I thought I'd share if you are interested.

We were too cloudy up here to see anything except for the darkening sky.

*sigh* and I had all my best apocalypse jokes ready to go too.

One of my bosses had glasses and kept trying to entice me to go out and take a look but I declined. First day back after vacation, I really had too much to do. It was pretty dark out at the time it was supposed to be happening but I think it was the clouds.

Beautiful pictures! We were right smack dab on the line of totality, so we really got to see something! Even when there was just a tiny sliver of the sun, it was just sort of dim. But during totality, it got very dark and you could see stars. For 360° around the horizon it looked like a sunset. Our roosters started crowing and the birds and insects got really quiet. It didn't seem to affect the dogs and cats at all.

WOW Ana! Great pictures! We were to far from the path of the eclipse to see much.
