I have seen posts recently (within the past year) on this one but have not seen this problem asked about - I am on Day 2, I have talked to all in hotel and have found a pie! yumyum...I have spoken much to Mrs. M with lots of flattery, then questions, as many as I could get to ask, then 5 insults and she leaves...I have saved here (as quickly as I can) and entered her house and tried and tried and tried and tried to go up those stairs to the bedrooms but Mrs. M keeps catching me - I seem to be having a problem going up those stairs, the program/game hesitates and won't let me go all the way up.....I need to get to Marie's room to read a diary...just how do I get past Mrs M? (is this a timed sequence?) Love, Betty Lou

This is one neato game...but I seem to be stuck! On Day 3 Evening the outlaws, I have killed 4 of the 5, reloaded my gun and when I aim it at #5 and click/shoot the gun won't shoot...I keep getting killed and its getting tiring and boring, I know where he is, I can place myself at the right spot to kill him the the gun won't shoot...is this a BUG in the game? How do I get past it? Love, Betty Lou

I GOT IT! Went back to the save after killing first 2, instead of killing one by coffins then the one by the well I used a different approach - straight down main street to the jail, behind jail on left toward town gate and shot 1 dead, same street approached well from left and shot him dead too. Then proceeded on down street to the right all the way to Grant & Mission Streets and my gun worked just fine and I killed the one on the balcony no problem. (Too bad the game did not give more choices of approach, could have gone into SALOON and shot him through an upstairs window, or stood under him by Saloon door and shot up through the porch to get him. Ah, well, on to other stuff now. Love, Betty Lou

Now, where did I mislay my Dunce Cap? I have been trying for a couple of hours to understand just how the mask will point me in the right direction in this MONSTER MINE MAZE....and I seem to be going around in circles....it feels like the MASK is not working for me at all and the eyes do not glow red unless I stop at each intersection and turn right or left, sometimes having to then turn back to the direction I was facing. Mr. Bill kindly pointed out to me no less than 5 different walkthroughs/hints and none of them are helping me with this. I must be doing something wrong here but can't figure out what it is...any ideas? Love, Betty Lou

Hi Betty Lou -- don't give up yet-- The first time I played this game the eyes were red -- this last time they were GREEN -- but either one-- the mast tilted and or the eyes turned color when you were approaching an "intersection" in the maze. I sometimes had to turn around and go back or go another step to even get to the turn it wanted me to make-- but it's not only the eyes coming on-- it's the tilt of the mask! It does eventually take you to the right place anyway but KEEP trying! <img border="0" alt=" " title="" src="graemlins/woozy.gif" />

BettyLou -- emailed your save back to the point of putting mask on the green eyes (skeleton) one thing I should remind you of-- you MUST have the mask out in your "use" - so you see it when you start walking as it is the twist and turn of the mask that tell you where to go! ummm did I mention that I didn't do just that after playing the game twice before??? good luck and keep me posted on how you do... I'm glad to be paying back some of the excellent help GB'ers have given me!
