Joe, you did amazing! I bet it feels good to have a successful hunt!

I finally got out on the canoe and we had an awesome day. So peaceful. We had a curious mink that watched us for awhile and we saw a coyote pup. I've never seen a pup and he reminded me a golden retriever puppy. Adorable! We also cleaned up a lot of fishing line and lures and bottles along the way.

Today my sister is coming from Indiana to go bike riding. It will be a great day for it!

Have a happy day all!

So my friend around the corner, whose hubby decided to get a girlfriend and move her into the family home (after friend moved next door to rehab her deceased Mom's house, is STILL trying to get hubby served with divorce papers.

We thought it would all go smoothly, but this is week THREE and now we know why. Not sure if hubby knows it's divorce stuff, but he's always paying bills late, getting water, electric, etc. shut off per my friend. House has been in foreclosure twice that I know of and bailed out at the last minute.

So the process server has been there several times and came again yesterday. He spent about 30 minutes trying to get the guy to come to the door. He informed my friend that the older son (he didn't know who he was at the time) comes to the door and tells him that his Dad is never home, because he works long hours for Amazon! Geez. Now he's got his son lying for him. So son runs interference and heaven knows how they will serve the dad WHO btw, IS HOME, hasn't left the house for over 2 weeks because he is avoiding getting served (whatever he imagines he is getting papers for). How funny.

Fun to watch. He's trapped in the house, haven't seen the girlfriend either, she might be sneaking in and out or just coming and going at weird house. For all we know, he's hiding in her car to go places. Terrible that the older son (19 or 20 now) is siding with dad and helping him fool the process server.

Next step is they serve the paper to the kiddo (it's allowed provided they can prove the relationship and living arrangements) and that will be that. Or they can do it by mail, but I doubt the dad would go and pick up stuff at the Post Office when he knows 'someone' is after him for 'something'. Still if he doesn't pick up the papers then, it's still considered service and the divorce will proceed without him. Oh boy.

Hoping the jerk will wise up and do something responsible, but I don't have much hope of that. Friend is holding up pretty well, but wants this whole saga ended. Praying for her and her younger son who is sticking by her.

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.
