I just can't seem to put anything in Rincewind's inventory. I have three things in it now, pouch, book and pickpocket skill. I couldn't get the mirror in it so I just carried it to the flagpole, but now I have to use the ladder and the butterfly net. I can use the ladder from the luggage but I can't use the butterfly net because I can't carry it up the ladder. Is this a game glitch? I checked that forum but didn't see this problem. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" />

Been along time - but if I remember correctly Rincewind himself can carry one or two objects on his person.

Just double click on Rincewind and see if his personal inventory opens (either that or single click - I forget) then put the butterfly net in his inventory and climb the ladder (I'm guessing you're trying to see into the kitchen window)

I just reread - you know most of the inventory goes into the luggage don't you? Then you retrieve things from it when you need them.
