I have the knob for the case behind the entrance desk and have put it on the case but I can't figure out how to get the case open to take a headphone which I need. Any ideas?

Betty Lou, have you moved your cursor all around looking for the red magnifying glass?

If it still doesn't come up, then you probably haven't done the action that triggers the need for headphones. Have you found the list of jobs that need to be done, and the control for the audio clips. Those two things should open the way to get the headphones...

Yeah, and it WAS FUNNY after I figured it out!
NOW, am contemplating having to go around and around in circles with the problem mentioned in another thread on NDScarletHand - Can't get Prudence conversation from Sinclair, can't find Sinclair to talk to him about anything, can't get through to Prudence who is at her 'quiet place' etc, etc, etc, and not enough time has passed for me to receive the piece from Chaco Canyon CC - had a terrible time getting them at all from early on to now, finally got the number to work.
At a bit of a loss as to how I should proceed, so much to do and too much 'dead time' with nothing to do except keep changing that clock.....any one have any ideas? Maybe I can work a jigsaw puzzle or crossword puzzle (in the game) while I wait for time to pass, things to happen that are supposed to happen? haha

Sinclair will come and talk to Nancy when Nancy studies the monolith in the garden. From then on, he can be found in his office.

For Prudence, be sure you have looked at the magazines, looked at the plaques by the entryway to museum proper, talked to Sinclair about the theft of Prudence's stone, talked to Franklin Rose and he gives Prudence's number. Then have a fun talk with her.

About the Chaco Canyon stone, be sure that you've called them twice before they will send the mold of the stone.

OK, Nancy did meet Sinclair in the garden, and has talked to him at his office several times after the jade was stolen but the conversation about Prudence's house being broken into has never come up yet I have and can call her on the telephone, just keep getting message she is in her 'quite place' - cannot figure out how I am going to get to talk to her if I can't 'trigger' this vital sequence.
I also have tried many times (as Nancy) to call Franklin Rose and talk to him again but he is NEVER in his office, where the heck did he go?
I've been back and forth and around and around so many times that even with 2 walkthroughs I am so confused as to how to proceed. Am trying the 'games and quiz' in the temple and hoping something in this game will 'click' like is is supposed to.....also having trouble getting the 'trigger' for that package to arrive from Chaco Canyon...NUTS!

Have you finished all the task and crossed them off the list?
Have you checked the messages on the office phone?
Have you talked several times to Henrik?
Have you checked the side drawer of your desk and Henrik's desk?
Have you checked everything in Sonny's diskette?
I'm just trying to think of steps that might hold you back.

Yes, Mag, I did all of that and have checked the NDScarletHand thread by Rui and the threads linked there...while the problem of the 'Rose/Prudence' conversation seems to be my problem (can't get it to 'trigger') AND (I have her telephone number but can't remember if Mr. Rose gave it to me earlier without that lengthy conversation about Prudence) -NOW cannot get ahold of him at all he is NEVER in his office.
None of the other threads/posts about this problem have helped me get around or through it. I keep calling everyone, seeing everyone that is available, checking my desk drawer and Sonny's raving jottings, magazines, Henrik's desk, Henriks & Sonnys computer discs notes etc, still waiting for that package from ChacoCanyon, cannot get package from Prudence if I don't talk to her (want to strangle her in her 'quiet place')...
I seem to be in the dead end of all dead ends in this game - like the game, everything about it, but do NOT want to have to start a New Game all over at the beginning -
Have done everything in Level 1 (in temple), Level 2 and am stuck at level 3 trying to figure out what animal Pacal is afraid of - it is NOT
coatimundi, cow, quetzal - so what the heck is it?
Am frustrated about being able to collect all 6 jade pieces, seems there is no way to get them all from where I am now.

Is Henrik in the hospital yet?
Talk to Henrik about everything and help him recover his memory He is a good source of info and is a trigger for a lot of things.
Coatimundi is the answer to level 3 but Henrik has to tell you about it.

I keep trying with Henrik, and nudging him, but keep running into a brick wall with him and it is like 'pulling teeth' to get him back to a full memory - seems like I am just going around in circles. I have decided it will not help for anyone else to send me a saved game as there are too many variables in this game what with whatever path each of us has taken to get where we are now....If I cannot solve this then I will need to start all over again!

I finally got through to Prudence but then this time around could not get Chaco to offer to send me the packing from their stolen jade piece, so am stuck again different place - SO I can either wipe out everything and start over AGAIN or I can beg, plead, whine for someone to come to my aid and provide me with a save

I got the mold from Chco Canyon way late in my game. I finished the pyramid's 3 levels first, got all the other 5 stones and then slept and woke up after that and checked the storeroom to find the mold.I also had the wheel on the monolith.

Try all of the above and see.

OK. Do you mean that after all that the telephone call you were to make asking for the mold actually DOES WORK? My problem at the moment is that I can't get Sheila to offer to send it at all and if I can't get such a conversation to take place how do I get them to send it at all?

If I remember correctly, I called Chaco Canyon 3xs: First to ask about Henrik, the stones and theft. The second time to ask for replica of stone and was told that she'll ask her people how to get something for Nancy. The third time to find out that she did get the packing that the stone came in and had the shape of the stone. The first call is the most important and has to exhaust all the dialogue involved.

BTW, have you talked to Henrik about the 6 stones?

I keep trying to get a connection to Chaco's telephone but there is no answer, no answering machine, just the phone ringing and ringing (went away from my computer for a while and when I came back it had stopped ringing but the phone was hung up must be something the game is programmed to do if you let it ring too long).
I cannot talk to Henrik about all 6 keys as he seems not to want to talk every time I go to the hospital and I have been trying for hours!
I have finished EVERYTHING else in this game, even toted those heavy stone rings onto the monolith, talked to everyone, called my friends (all 4) and I give up......would anyone happen to have a SAVED game right before putting the 6 jade pieces together? I am desperate, otherwise I will not be able to finish this game - don't know where I went wrong with the first Chaco call but am at the point where I just simply don't care anymore. I would like to finish this game and go on to something else PLEASE and thanks

Hi Betty Lou..this is just a thought, don't know if it will work, but I had the same problem you are having..I did everything I could think of doing..had done all the puzzles, maze etc..finally I got to talk to Mr.Rose, he said he would speak to Prudence for me..then I called her...after that the package from Prudence was there in the shipping dept..I took it and went to the Lab..after I finished there, I still couldn't call Sheila, but I decided to check for her package anyway..sure enough, after the one came from Prudence..the one came from Shila...I only talked to Shila the one time..anyway, after you get the package from Prudence..check for the other one, just in case!! ..good luck!
