Are you playing the game from a physical CD, or a digital download from Steam?

I honestly don't know for sure. But if you are on Windows 7, you can go to start in the lower lefthand corner of your screen, type Lost Crown into the search box and if files for The Lost Crown come up, you can look at properties and it will tell you where it is located.

It's also possible that it is inside a folder called GotGame, which is the name of the publisher.

As far as the map of the woods, the walkthrough says this:

Quote:
Workshop: Exit the kitchen. Go to top right and enter the workshop.

Talk to Robert completely. What church? At the woods... The disks with symbols might be giving directions...

Check the table and look at through the microscope. The piece of the broken millstone has autumnal berry stains. Check the broken stone in the box left of the microscope - autumn.

Check all the scrolls. See a drawing of the autumn stone and get a map of the Carrion Woods.

As far as I remember the saved games should reside in "C:\Users\***\Saved Games\The Lost Crown\"

I don't think I have a saved game for this; if I do find something, I will let you know.

You could try watching a video walkthrough on YouTube for the millstones sequence - that might be of help to you.

My saves are somewhat sketchy for this game. The only saved game I have for day 2 is after you go back to Northfield Church at night. The saved game is for after the plants on the church door are done. You would miss a big chunk of the game by utilizing this saved game, but if you want it, let me know.

The section you are stuck on is very particular - if you haven't done every single little thing that is required, Nigel is not allowed to leave the area. Unfortunately there is no way for me to know what little thing you might have missed. I would suggest going through the entire area and making sure to check/click on everything active in the church and outside the church.

I have two saved games for the museum - one says museum daytime closing, and the other one says museum night. I need to know which one you need.

The only thing I can think of is that sometimes saved games need to be re-numbered, but I don't know if that is the case with these.

I have never used these saved games myself, so I am unfamiliar with any other details that might be needed to get them to work.

Make sure that you are putting them in the same place as your other saves for Lost Crown, and also make sure you are placing them into the folder and not trying to open the saved-game files themselves (i.e. by clicking on them).

And no, there is no one else. I do know that these saved games have worked for other people in the past.
