Looks cute, a refreshing change from so many games full of horror, torture and abuse. Have never heard of the game group, "Brave Giant." I think I will check it out, at least.

I don't often play SE games, but I had a Coupon, so I chose one: Tiny Tales: Heart of the Forest. It was fun, with some limitations on that rating. It is a “cute” game, a type I usually don't go for, but a nice change from a steady diet of demons, gangsters, vampires, pirates and hauntings. ha ha It is a rats-and-mice story, and charming as far as it goes, but is the usual Good-vs-Evil story with you trying to expose the villain in the king's house before it is too late.

There are a plethora of HO scenes, but most are childishly easy, and quick to dispose of in any case. Basically click-click-click and you are done. The graphics are cartoon clear and fun to see in each scene. Some of the inventory use is odd, and not what you'd expect. If you have two items that you might use in a scene, the unlikely one is often the one that works. wink Many things are hidden from you and you have to move other items to find them.

There are a number of small “timing” scenes, one involving balance but most being a derivation of target practice. None are challenging; it is like the game was designed for children and they don't want to frustrate them. There is a wide range of challenges in the mini-games, with some being dead simple and others requiring you to scratch your head. There were no pop ups, no “extras” to be found, and no Bonus Round, this being an SE. The game is simple enough that no notes need be kept. Just romp through it.

Choosing to play this little game is a matter of preference. It took very little time to play. I doubt I will replay it even though it was fun. But if you are in the mood for a lark, it might suit you. As I said, the characters were cute. It might comprise a pleasant break from the usual gloom of most games.
