I checked out the Demo, and this game looks heavy on the tiny-object HO scenes. How true is that in practice?

This review here should give you a good idea. There are lots of hidden object scenes as I recall, but the review also talks about mini-games, length, etc.

The developer of the game is Frogwares, known for their full-length Sherlock Holmes adventure games.

Most of the people I know who played the game really enjoyed it, but it was released quite a few years ago when more frequent hidden-object scenes were the norm.

Thank you for the link to that review! MOST helpful. Verified my impression that it was HO-heavy, based on the Trial Game. I will give this one a pass. There are plenty of other games.
