I'm worried about an old friend there, too, but he is not a gamer in this forum. His place is right on the coast just south of Tampa Bay, and they all got mandatory evacuation orders two days ago. He moved inland to a friend's "bunker" house, and we're hoping they'll all be fine, but this is such a powerful storm that it is scary waiting. I hope everyone gets through tonight and tomorrow, 'Boomer or not.

My neighbor's relatives are in Spring Hill, on the coast above Tampa Bay. Looks like Irma is headed right up that way if it doesn't turn into the gulf. Scary.
The most interesting part is the live video of the people standing IN the surf on the beach. Geez! Not smart, but then I've been known to do some of the same stuff in my day. I would like to think I'm more savvy now, but ya never know. I think it's the thrill of seeing nature at it's fiercest up close and personal.

Terrible destruction on all the TV stations. Feeling really sad for all the losses.
My neighbor's family in Spring Hill is OK. Whew!
