I bought it at the Two-Fer sale today, and began playing it right away. I'm loving it! This game has such a sense of being real
, and not just a flat scene. It is so cinematic and the graphics are so clean. Like other games in the series, many of the scenes are vast panoramas in which you really feel the depth of the space. In each, there are a myriad of things to do, and usually, you move on to the next scene without finishing, knowing you will be back.
I find the mini-games in this series to be original and inventive, and usually reflective of the theme of the game (unlike others that plunk down the same puzzles in every game, regardless of story line). It does have HO scenes, but they are nothing like the usual, boring find-the-skillet-in-the-snowbank
variety. You have to think
about what you need to do next, and interact with the scene, to gradually find and uncover the pieces you need.
This whole series has been outstanding, memorable, and that says a lot, considering the sheer number of these games I've played. I know I will Replay this one, too!
