These days we are all some what caught in an "Internet lifestyle", so here are some things you can do in the horrific event your ISP goes down...

1. Dial 911 immediately.

2. Open the curtains to see if anything has changed over the past 2 years.

3. You mean there's something else to do?

4. Threaten your ISP with an impeachment vote.

5. Work.

You start tilting your head sideways to smile. :^)

You turn on your computer, and turn off your spouse.

Your best friend is someone you've never met.

Your spouse says communication is important in a marriage...so you buy another computer, and install a second phone line so you can chat.

You begin to wonder how on earth your service provider is allowed to call 200 hours per month "unlimited."

Your dog has its own home page.

So does your gold fish.

Super Saturday ya'll puppy

I've been up in the kitchen doing "stuff." Now it's finally time to sit and surf for a second before I go back and do more stuff.

The boys and I are going to make a new cookie recipe today...sounds good. We were supposed to do it last weekend, but life got in the way.

Joe, please send us some 70's.

Ana, I'm glad you finally got your heat. Enjoy Fermilab.

Venus, congrats on the new One-job phase of life. Enjoy your voice lesson.

Gerry wavegirl

Gail, enjoy the fair. Is the family going with?

Connie, have fun tonight.

Midgy, don't clean too much. Save some energy for tonight.

It's FALL! fall We had a cool day yesterday and a cooler night. Wheeee! I even put sockies on my feet last night to warm my toes.

Then there was the FIRE at the Mexican Restaurant at the corner Thursday night. Geez. 5 fire trucks, a chiefs tactical truck, 4 or so police cars 2 ambulances etc. Finally found out what it was yesterday morning. An electrical fire at the back of the building. It wasn't on the news, but a 'stringer' had some good footage. Restaurant is closed for now and I saw one of those 'disaster clean up trucks' over there yesterday afternoon. Probably minor damage. It's a good place, that gets a lot of business. And it's only 1 block from me. Easy to walk and then 'roll' home after a huge bowl of Ablondigas.

Today, shopping, again. Was out of everything, especially my favorite 300 large piece puzzles. I mistakenly bought TWO 500 piece puzzles at two different Wally Marts and had to return them. I'm getting OLD. Don't know why I didn't notice the 500 instead of 300 on the box. Oh well. I'll be more careful from now on. Gotta read all those labels especially on food. Managed to buy some 'heart healthy' soup and it tasted so weird. Yuk.

Kittens (2) black guys who are now 5 1/2 weeks are healthy and active. AND fat and fluffy. I think they might be long-haired. Ohhhh. Way too fluffy. Dad was a bit thick haired but I won't know for awhile. Mom still has them under the deck but I saw they both had learned how to dig a potty hole and cover it. Nice. Cats are so easy.

Gotta go to the back lot to see if the 'new neighbors' have done anything about the leaning chain link fence. The guy asked permission to pull it back to upright, which would be nice. The bottom is on his property line but the top is about 2 feet leaning to my side. I don't complain because it's just an empty lot. Someday, maybe I can sell it to him or another new neighbor adjoining. All it does is grow weeds and make me have to pay someone to chop everything down. Lots of work.

Off to buy some toilet deodorant and other stuff I'm out of.

Hey everybody. wave2

Hey Karen, it's good to see you in the diner again. Hope you're doing ok. wave2

I've been taking it easy today, except for some HIIT cardio on my treadmill. tired

Little Beau, Missy's brother, injured his foot yesterday. I took him to the vet today, but the vet is on vacation until Tuesday. I'm hoping the foot is not broken. I gave him a baby aspirin and used an ice pack on it to try and help him feel better. smirk

Every time I ask him how he's doing, Missy runs over to him and puts her nose against his. puppy

I'll need to take him back home soon.

I hope you all have a super day. rah

It's a banner moment here. Just saw one of the 2 little kittens climbing up the ramp to the adult food table and nosed around (hesitantly) and find the canned food plate. It is now eating wet food hungrily. Hooray! No more worrying about mom running out of milk. I have a suspicion that Mom took the little ones on a field trip to the table last night, otherwise this one wouldn't know what the ramp was for.

Sorry about Beau's foot Joe. Hope it's nothing serious. I've only had cats but I know they twist, land wrong, or get something in their paws, it's really sad to watch. Cats heal pretty quickly usually on their own. Had one sprain a leg (my fault since I shot it with the hose out of a 15 foot tree when he refused to come down!) Poor thing landed on his feet but one leg crumpled under him. Doc said just put cool clothes on it and give him baby aspirin. Several days of limping but he recovered. Never went up another tree though. And I never shot another cat with the water either. Learned my lesson too.
