Advantages: Can tote bales; is easily fooled
Disadvantages: Can break you in half, sweats like a pig

Welcome to a new week!


Sunday was great. I watched 3 unbelievable games. It's hard though when you have to watch 2 games at the same time, and flip back and forth between them. I guess I need to figure out if I can watch 2 shows at once on my TV.


Didn't even think about that to tell the truth.


Game number 4 is about to start.


Monday is going to be parking with the dogs, and a trip to Walmart. I also have to mow lawns.......sometime very soon.


Beau's foot was better today while I had him over here. He still won't walk on it though.


Gotta go. Football's on.

Joe, glad that Beau's foot is a bit better. Will he still be seeing the vet to be sure it isn't broke?

The weekend was a blur. Moving Peter went very well, I brought 5 people with me so he was very happy!
Fermilab was fantastic! 5 hours of 95 degrees and at least 2 of those hours was waiting for or sitting in a hot school bus. The place was unbelievable even though I understood very little. WE got to enter areas that were opened up for the first time to the public in history.

Have a happy day all! I'll be taking Nugget to see her owner while she's back in town and then bringing her back.

Good morning everyone, have a Great Monday. Danish, Eggs, Grits, Hash Browns, BB Pancakes, and French Toast in the NC.

Easy answer for ya Joe! Get 2 TV's. I have always had more than one. The 'big' one and then the security monitors (13" VCR/TV combos). I watch 2 stations together when necessary. Cox made it harder when they went to all HD so now I can only get 2 stations where I used to get 4. Stupid little 'box' makes it so the 3 security monitors all work together. Clever of them. I could rewire them to go off cable, but then I'd have no reception except for some local stuff, or I could PAY for 2 more boxes at 4 bucks a month. Not worth it. Depends on how your TV is wired to cable if you can split one line to two and use them separately. I got my neighbor's hooked up that way and she watches 2 ball games together all the time.

KITTENS: They are now both coming to the feeding table on their own. Not sure why Mom isn't staying with them like a good mom should. She's not a good mom. But both are fat and eating wet and dry food now. They are staying out in 'public' where I can see them for short times. If I don't move they will sit and watch me. Then they run under the deck in a second when the think I'm breathing. Ha.

Had to do another field trip to my back lot. Seems Shadow, one of the 3 older kittens (they are about a year now, has decided the back lot is her territory. She rarely comes for food with the others in the morning, and now sometimes not even at night. I guess she's found a good supply of mice or birds. She's spayed so no worries there, but I think she's branching out and claiming her own territory as most female kitties do. Only one alpha female allowed I guess. She comes when I call her, which is a good thing. Bad thing is on the trip 200 feet back to the empty lot, I was followed by her 2 brothers and the older (14) Ninja kitty. We ALL convoyed back up the driveway, with me as the Pied Piper and them following me into the yard and they all (even the missing one) up on the food table. Second feeding for all the others. I guess when I call, they figure they MUST eat at least a little bite to make me happy. Good kitties.

WELL That was fun! We just had a power failure preceded by a HUGE BOOM! sounded like a bomb went off next door. Nothing like explosions to bring out all the neighbors. Good time to chat and get up to date on stuff. We 'think' it was a transformer somewhere within the next block. My entire block was off, the houses across the street off, but the side street (which T's to mine) had power. Fun day. Boom, zap, nothing. Thank goodness, after an HOUR the power came back (our power company truck messed with something on the wires at the corner) and I can watch my Soaps.

Hi guys, Long day at the Auburn vet. Keoki was walking when we left the vet, but isn't walking now...not sure what that is about. Will carry him up to bed.

I have a dentist appointment at the crack of dawn tomorrow. Will see how Keoki is doing after that.
